Diversity, Equity, Access & Inclusion Policy
Kingdom Keeperz and its primary arts & culture program, Creative Zone JC, are committed to building creative spaces that are welcoming, accessible, and reflective of the Jersey City community.

We believe access to the arts should not depend on income, background, connections, or prior experience. Our programs are designed to remove barriers and create real opportunities for residents to participate and grow.

Access
Creative Zone JC operates free public arts labs for Jersey City residents. Participants are not required to pay tuition or membership fees. No prior training or professional equipment is required. We intentionally serve youth, young adults, and community members who may not otherwise have access to structured arts education.

Accessibility
We prioritize ADA accessible venues. The Cannabis Place Community Room is ground level with no steps. Kvibe Studios provides ramp and elevator access. Sessions are structured to allow seated participation, flexible pacing, and collaborative support. We are committed to making reasonable accommodations when requested to ensure participants can engage fully.

Representation
Our leadership reflects the cultural and lived experiences of many of the communities we serve. We intentionally work with teaching artists and guest professionals from diverse racial, cultural, and creative backgrounds. Representation in leadership and instruction matters to us.

Inclusion
Creative Zone JC is a respectful environment. Discrimination, harassment, or exclusion based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background is not tolerated. We expect participants and staff to contribute to a safe and supportive creative space.

Accountability
We track attendance, participant retention, and feedback to ensure our programs remain accessible and welcoming. We regularly review our outreach efforts and partnerships to better serve underserved communities within Jersey City.

Diversity, equity, access, and inclusion are not separate from our mission. They are built into how we design, host, and grow our programs.
